Harlingen Medical Center is excited to announce the return of Todd Mann as our new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mann is not a stranger to HMC, having previously led the award-winning hospital from 2008 to 2012. With a wealth of experience and a proven track record as a hospital administrator, he is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment that enhances relationships among employees and physicians while working towards common goals.
Before rejoining HMC, Mr. Mann held the position of Regional Senior Vice President for DHR Health, overseeing strategic operational activities for a large integrated delivery system spanning Hidalgo, Cameron and Starr counties. Previously, Mr. Mann served as Chief Executive Officer for South Texas Health System – McAllen, which created a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center under his direction.
Prior to this role, Mr. Mann served in various leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer for Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Market President and Chief Executive Officer of Hospital Partners of America’s (HPA) Austin, and as System Chief Operating Officer for a multi-hospital HPA system in Houston.
Mr. Mann holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University in San Marcos and completed his administrative residency at Columbia Bay Area Medical Center in Corpus Christi. He also received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is a proud member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
A native of the Rio Grande Valley, he was born in Winter Park, Florida, but grew up in McAllen. He is married and has two adult children, and he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
