During my medical emergency,  I was not doing well.  The ER staff and Doctors worked hard to stabilize me . I am so grateful to my God and Harlingen Medical Center. I was admitted into the hospital through the ER on Tuesday morning and released on a Thursday with many test run to identify issues with my heart. The staff in the ER and the 2nd floor cardiology floor are exceptional. The care provided here is top notch.

My visit to HMC was lifesaving as well as an awesome experience. I received immediate care upon arrival at ER and very effective medical care . Every service I received from triage intake to discharge, three days later, couldn’t have been any better. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to my GI doctor, who was not on call and he came as soon as he was informed. God bless you Doctor Green. Every nurse gave me their very best. Miranda solved a very important problem. I had been D/C already and at the pharmacy I found out that a medication supply that was supposed to be for two weeks, was Rx by accident, for two doses: one day. I called nurse’s station and in half an hour I had the new correct Rx sent to the Pharmacy. God bless you Miranda. It is unfair that I cannot include each and every healthcare provider. I came home feeling great and with a Rx follow up treatment and plan. I cannot end without mentioning my personal experience with the visit of Maria Trinidad from the Religious Services Office. My outpatient experience was and has always been great. My mom’s GI procedure was the first experience and interaction with outpatient at HMC, followed by my daughter’s being the next and finally mine. Super friendly, informative, caring, smiling, and helpful in every way.

I was in the hospital 4 and a 1/2 days.My experience with staff and doctors was excellent. The nurses and staff are very caring.And respectful to all your needs if I ever need to go back, definitely one place that I'll be looking forward to.

Great experience. First time as a patient there. In the ER, Bruno, Dr. Khan and Zulema helped me a lot and were attentive to my care. In medsurg, Daniel and there entire day and night staff were amazing. They made sure I was doing well day and night.
